Bacon Pastry Twists With Beer Cheese Dip Recipe

If there’s ever a time to forgo the carb cutting and general “being good” once Christmas, it’s game day! look the large game (check out some Super Bowl party concepts here) is that the initial smart excuse to consume carbs, fat, salt and brew, as a result of it’s nearly expected of you.

thus we tend to set to incorporate all of these things you’ve been missing in these bacon pastry twists in a very tart brew-cheese dip (even better: The dip solely uses common fraction of that bottle of beer, thus we tend to get the chef’s treat whereas we’re creating it!).

Add some extras in there too, if you wish — perhaps some sauce within the dip, or ingredient and cheese within the twists. We’ll return to the zoodles and lettuce wraps tomorrow.

Ingredients:
Makes 20-22 bacon pastry twists

• 2 sheets puff pastry
• 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 20-22 bacon strips
• 1 egg, lightly whisked
• 2 Tablespoons sesame seeds

For the beer cheese dip

• 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup cream cheese
• ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
• ½ teaspoon garlic salt
• 1 cup beer (we used Budweiser)

To serve

• 2 Tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
• 1/2 teaspoon dried chili flakes
