Bacon Wrapped Hearts of Palm with Caramelized Shallot and Olive Dip

Since we have a tendency to didn’t cook for Thanksgiving, we’re going all out for Christmas. we've family coming back over and we’re planning to have a delicious meal roasted by the entire family. Tomato there’s nothing additional special than all standing round the room, with everybody cookery along.
every loved one, even the children square measure guilty of their own dish, or 2! And everything simply comes along within the finish in currently wonderful family roasted spectacular meal.
One issue i would like to try and do totally different this year is to select recipes for everybody, and have everybody build their own direction, and place their own spin thereon if they want! this manner all the dishes quite go along too, and that i will simply buy everything directly to create all of our dishes.

- 1 can Reese Hearts of Palm
- 5 -6 slices bacon
For the dip:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 shallot, sliced thin and caramelized in olive oil
- 2 teaspoons finely diced olives (plus more for garnish)
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves for garnish
