PISTACHIO PUDDING PIE

I had ne'er detected of pistachio pie till I met my husband. On one among the primary Thanksgivings my husband and that i hosted, my in-law mentioned that she may bring a pistachio pie for course. That was a brand new one on behalf of me thus, naturally, I united that she ought to positively bring it.
I had to examine what it had been all about!
Turns out, pistachio pie wasn't what i used to be expecting at all! i am almost certain what i used to be expecting, however it wasn't what she brought! I learned that pistachio pie is not a baked pie full of pistachios, but a cool, creamy, no-bake pie full of pistachio pudding. FUN!
I was impressed by my in-law and determined to place my very own spin on a pistachio pie. I unbroken the biscuit crust that she continually uses, and flat-topped it with an additional creamy pistachio pudding layer. My in-law tiptop her pie with cool whip, however I opted for recent topping and a chocolate drizzle.

- 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant pistachio pudding mix
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 OREO Pie Crust
- 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons shelled pistachios, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 ounce semisweet chocolate
