Blackberry Mojito
Tuesday, May 7, 2019
Grab your shaker because this blackberry mojito needs to made now! Sweet blackberries give the traditional mojito a flavorful kick.
Why I never thought of a blackberry mojito before now baffles me. Berries and mint go so well together – and anything with alcohol is just better, right? So if you like blackberries and you’re a mojito fan, then this cocktail is a no brainer.
It’s pretty easy to whip up, and let’s face it: any time you get to mush stuff up with a muddler then it’s kind of stress relief before the booze sets in.
INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Step 1. Add the mint leaves, blackberries, and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, muddle the ingredients until the mint is fragrant. Add the ice cubes, rum, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously to chill.
Step 2. Fill 2 rocks or highball glasses with crushed ice and strain the liquid into the glasses. Top with club soda and garnish each with a slice of lime.
