My original though process was, “Well, the hubby isn’t going to be home all weekend or for the rest of the week so I’ll go ahead and do it now.”

For me, it’s definitely much easier to complete a cleanse when the husband isn’t around and all I have to do is feed the kiddos. Just make some dinner for them and then drink my shake and eat my veggie dinner. Simple.

INGREDIENTS

  • Sweetener/sugar/honey to taste this is personal preference
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coffee flavored yogurt I used Chobani Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder or instant coffee powder I would guess a shot of espresso would work too. I haven't tried it.
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
