Apricot and Walnut Fruitcake
Monday, January 14, 2019
Dark, damp and made Christmas cakes area unit the foremost oft consumed, with white fruitcake seldom seen. These cakes tend to be created in period of time to early Dec once the weather starts to chill down. they're a staple throughout Christmas dinner and a present typically changed between business associates and shut friends and family.
Now, although fruitcake was a standard incidence in our home, i might ne'er partake of it. i assumed the thought of dried and candied cherries and fruits baked into a cake was simply plain gross. I wouldn’t be caught dead feeding it. It’s solely been the past 2 or 3 Christmases that I’ve tried the crystalised cherries and learned that they were quite delicious. Now, I create it a goal to bake a minimum of 2 or 3 things each season with dried and candied fruits being the star of the instruction.
